I suggest you to run Hardware and devise troubleshooter and check if it helps.

2. Click on view all option on the upper left corner of Troubleshooting window.

Try uninstalling the two programs (TOSHIBA Recovery Media Creator, TOSHIBA Disc Creator) if they are installed.

Be sure to restart the computer afterward.

The Pioneer DVD-RW DVRKD08 USB player is a USB player attached to the computer. I hooked it up because I can not get the one in the computer to work. The DVD player in the computer, TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN=208AB w/32bit driver still does not work.

Try again uninstalling the TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN=208AB drive via the Device Manager and restart the computer.

In the Device Manager can you double-click the drive.
